The exchange of knowledge between the learned and learner is normally facilitated by regular campus mode of education. However, in distance mode of education technology vehicle bridges the gap between learned and learner, eliminating the geographical barrier between the two. The learner can login to virtual classroom as per his/her convenience and comfort. The Mody University offers UG and PG programmes through Onlinemode which are at par with the Mody University campus programmes. The programmes offered can be checked at Mody University website. The Mody University offers these programmes through learners friendly, robust, effective Learning Management System (LMS).
In the correspondence mode of education, the learners are deprived of the technology vehicle (like CBT, LMS) to access the interactive multimedia rich course content/online discussions/webinars/online support services. The learner in correspondence mode is fully dependent of Self-learning material. But in the case of Open Distance /Online learning, while the learners can have most of the advantages of campus mode and yet she/he can plan their studies as per their own convenience and comfort.
